ABOUT DJ BUCKLIVE
Benjamin Abraham, aka DJ Bucklive, has been deejaying since the tender age of 13. Today, DJ Bucklive makes personal DJ appearances as well as produces music. He is a rarity in the DJ world as he still believes in the art of deejaying using vinyl for live, original mixes. At a very early age, DJ Bucklive showed a love for music and a curiosity about deejaying. Being inspired by the 80’s DJs, rappers and films like Crush Groove, his deejaying piqued during this critical era in Hip Hop. In an effort to keep him on a positive path during his early years, his parents invested in DJ equipment. As a result of this crucial investment, he made mixtapes and was able to distribute them to individuals at his father’s job. After the success of the mass mixtapes distributed, community members began reaching out to him for DJ bookings. DJ Bucklive became the go-to DJ for high school and college parties which eventually caught the attention of various radio personalities. He became a regular on many local radio stations by providing weekly mixes. He spent his time traveling between SC, NC and GA, making personal appearances deejaying at a variety of events. Expanding his musical talent, DJ B.Live began to produce music. Working with artists Travis Wright, KG the Artist, and collaborating with musicians and other DJ's, he has produced songs for aspiring artist. Mastering the craft of music making and conquering the most complex of sound mixing, Studio 413 was born and the beat goes on. Benjamin has a B.S. from SC State, M.S. from University of Phoenix, and further studies in Music Production.
